Title in Limbo (1983)

This collaboration with Renaldo And The Loaf (from Portsmouth, England) is one of my favourites and I think it has stood the test of time very well. Some tracks are more Renaldo, some more like The Residents and some a perfect synthesis of the two, an example being the cartoon nasty Monkey And Bunny.

The gorgeous Mahogany Wood is strange and languid folk from another world and The Sailor Song is right up there with their best material. The Snakefinger contributions on Tidal In Lumbar are pretty much the icing on the cake. The ESD CD of Not Available has a selection from this little gem but the only full version available is on a 1998 Ralph America numbered, limited edition CD.
