DOUBLE SHOT (1988)

The epic God In Three Persons project also spawned an instrumental album and two singles, Double Shot being the first. It's a cover version of the Swinging Medallions' 1960's hit, a song which The Residents had already tackled in a completely different style on The Third Reich And Roll album and which, along with the hymn Holy Holy Holy, served as inspiration for the main project. The cute 3" CD version I have also includes extended versions of Loss Of A Loved One and Kiss Of Flesh from God In Three Persons.
